‘THE THRILL OF SPEED’
SEEKING ACTORS AND FILMMAKERS FOR OUR KANSAS CITY GUERRILLA FILM. SHOOTING SUMMER 2026.

THE NAME OF CONQUISTADORE
A film is not built in sterile studios or corporate boardrooms — it is seized, like a conquistador raising a flag over new territory.
Each shot is a battle. Each location, a conquest. Each story, a pursuit of the mythic.
Cinema is warfare.
Conquistadore Films is built on this ethos. Our work is destructive and explorative. Destructive of comfort, clichés, and safety. Explorative of the truth still buried beneath the illusions of modern life.
We make films the ancient way: Dangerously. Poetically. With total commitment.
This is not a studio. This is a campaign.
MICHAEL SAYE
Michael Saye is a filmmaker, writer, and adventurer driven by the belief that cinema should be lived, not merely made. After dropping out of high school and spending his early adulthood working in warehouses, riding motorcycles, and surviving brutal seasons on Alaskan fishing boats, he shaped his life around hard-won experiences rather than film school dogma. His films pursue the mythic spirit of youth, rebellion, and raw existence — blending guerrilla realism with poetic ambition. As the founder of Conquistadore Films, Michael leads productions that are less like corporate studio projects and more like expeditions: risky, handmade, and unrepeatable. He is currently writing, directing, and producing The Thrill of Speed, a guerrilla-shot odyssey set deep in the nocturnal underworld of the American Midwest.
